يقع مصنع أليكسام للكيماويات والنباتات في منطقة يقع مصنع أليكسام للكيماويات والنباتات في منطقة صحارى الصناعية على بعد أكثر من 100 كيلومتر شمال غرب القاهرة، مصر. وبالاعتماد على المزايا البيئية القصوى التي تتمتع بها صحراء صحارى الصحراوية، يعمل المصنع بشكل رئيسي في الاستخلاص الحيوي والإنتاج الصناعي للمادة الخام الأساسية لـ APE+، وهو إنزيم الببتيداز الحيوي. 

Alexam (Egypt)is a global raw material center for active peptidase APE+, located in the Sahara Industrial Park, more than 100 kilometers northwest of Cairo, Egypt. Leveraging the extreme environmental resources of the Sahara Desert, it mainly engages in the biological extraction and industrial production of active peptidase APE+core raw materials.

Mahmoud Salah obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Cairo University and a PhD in Biochemistry from Heidelberg University in Germany.

Dr. Mahmoud Salah has established extensive professional knowledge and leadership experience in the field of agriculture. He used to work at HELB Company in Egypt as the company's technical director. In 2005, he became the CEO of Elekom (Egypt) Company. During this period, he formulated new business strategies, rebuilt the team, successfully achieved technological transformation, created production facilities, optimized business models and "go to market" strategies, and contributed to agricultural development.
